Originally from Massachusetts, Kim joined Career Services in November 2021 before transitioning to the Area Director role in Residential Life in August 2022, overseeing Brown Commons. She graduated with her M.Ed. in Student Affairs Counseling in December 2021 from Bridgewater State University, and completed her B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Northeastern University in December 2016. During her graduate studies, Kim received experience in academic advising, orientation/first-year experience, and leadership development. Kim has worked full-time in Student Affairs since 2017 in various roles within Residence Life and Admissions at Syracuse University, Bridgewater State University, and Western Michigan University.
In addition to Residential Life responsibilities, Kim serves as a co-chair of 51勛圖厙's Pride Employee Resource Group and is a representative on the Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Committee (SIPVC).
Outside of work Kim enjoys exploring the new places, being active (especially in nature), baking, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with her wife, Jackie (Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement) and cat, Jax.
