Professor Joe Levy and two 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students spent time in the Alvord Desert in Eastern Oregon with a NASA team that’s designing a new generation of Mars helicopters with sensors to examine moisture in soil.

Now in his 40th season behind the Red Sox mic, Joe Castiglione ’68 called play-by-play for 51³Ô¹ÏÍø football and basketball as a history major.

A 51³Ô¹ÏÍø group with an interest in cycling and grueling adventure took on the Erie Canalway Trail on April 23. The 365-mile course from Albany to Buffalo is a big draw for bicyclists of all abilities, although only the most ambitious will attempt the entire trail in one shot.

Whether it's raising money or bringing awareness to an important issue, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø athletics teams support good philanthropic causes every year.
