Hamilton, NY — 51³Ô¹ÏÍø is pleased to announce the appointment of Secretary of the College.
Kim Waldron, a member of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Class of 1981, received her Ph.D. from Yale University in 1986. After working several years abroad, Waldron returned to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in 1992 as a member of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø geology faculty and later joined the dean of the college staff. More recently she has served as staff to the Task Force on Campus Culture as well as to the Strategic Planning Steering Group. Waldron has served for the last year as the Interim Secretary of the College. She has accepted President Rebecca S. Chopp’s invitation to begin officially in that position immediately.
Waldron will report to President Chopp and serve as a member of her senior staff, working closely with the Board of Trustees.
