Hamilton – Valedictorian Boryana Vladimirova Zamanova of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria and salutatorian Matthew Stephen Godleski are the top students in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s graduating Class of 1999.
Both were elected to Phi Beta Kappa this year and will graduate summa cum laude. Zamanova, who majored in both economics and German, will receive the bachelor of arts degree with honors in economics and high honors in German. Godleski, who held a double major in neuroscience and molecular biology, will receive the bachelor of arts with high honors in molecular biology.
51³Ô¹ÏÍø President Neil R. Grabois will award 676 AB degrees during 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s 178th commencement Sunday afternoon.
Actor and comedian Bill Cosby will deliver the commencement address during the 1:30 ceremony adjacent to Taylor Lake (in Sanford Field House in case of rain). Cosby will also receive an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø on Sunday.
