51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Administrative Support Team (CAST) is dedicated to connecting administrative professionals across campus, and providing opportunities for collaboration, support, and continuous learning through relationship building and information sharing across divisions.
CAST Goals
By nurturing a strong community, the group will bolster collective expertise, elevate the role of administrative professionals within 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, and cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment. Together, members empower one another, embrace diversity, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation in administrative roles. CAST is committed to elevating their collective impact by encouraging collaboration and promoting an environment of growth.
Outreach and Events
Since 2022, CAST has hosted a series of events designed to bring together administrative professionals from various departments. Each event features guest speakers who share insight, expertise, and networking opportunities. From discussions on career coaching and professional development to exploring topics of equity, wellness, and sustainability, these sessions provide valuable resources and foster connections among members. Past speakers include representatives from Human Resources, the Office of Equity and Diversity, Shaw Wellness, and Sustainability.
In addition to these events, CAST members have organized initiatives, such as a secret snowflake gift exchange, which aimed to strengthen bonds, cultivate personal connections, and boost team morale among members.
