51³Ô¹ÏÍø students and administrators are working to make sure Thanksgiving is as welcoming and happy for as many people as possible.

Kevin M. Carlsmith, a highly regarded 51³Ô¹ÏÍø professor and researcher who battled cancer for the past three years, died Nov. 19 in his boyhood home in California surrounded by members of his family. He was 44.

51³Ô¹ÏÍø recorded a 99 percent graduation success rate for its student-athletes, according to a recent report by the NCAA.

As alumni, faculty, and students celebrated the 50th anniversary of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s London Study Group, the Institute of International Education (IIE) released its 2009-2010 Open Doors data. Again, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø appeared near the top of two lists for the number of students studying abroad.
